A tonearm cable is the last link in the chain between the stylus and your phono stage. It carries one of the most delicate signals in audio just a few millivolts from a moving coil cartridge. Everything about its construction either preserves that signal or compromises it. Bool Audio cables are designed and assembled in-house in the UK, built around the best available conductors and materials.
The Clear Wave 2.0 has been redesigned from the ground up. Built around the Gotham Audio GAC-2 double flat cable with double Reussen shielding, and terminated with AECO gold-plated tellurium copper RCA receptacles, it offers exceptional channel separation and noise suppression with both moving coil and moving magnet cartridges. Every component — the PEEK bodies, the DIN plug shell, the cable splitter — is made in-house at Bool Audio. The only bought-in parts are the gold-plated pins in the DIN plug itself and the Gotham cable. The shield is connected to ground at both ends only, keeping the signal path as clean as possible.
The cable has been made with the same topology as the original in that the shield is only connected to the ground connections at each end.
**Compatible with all Linn tonearms**
**Possible clearance issue on shallow early plinths fitted with a trampoline.**

The Clear Wave tonearm cable "Black Edition"
Made in the UK here at Bool Audio
The Original was designed with one thing in mind: the LP12's suspended subchassis. The suspension is central to everything the LP12 does — it isolates the playing surface from external vibration, and it needs to move freely to do its job. A stiff, heavy tonearm cable can load that suspension and compromise it, which is why so many LP12 owners find cable dressing such a critical and frustrating part of setup.
The Clear Wave Original was built around the ultra-flexible Belden star quad cable specifically to solve this. It's light, compliant, and easy to dress without it ever pulling on the subchassis. The included P-clip makes routing clean and repeatable. The result is a cable that gets out of the way and lets the LP12 do what it does best.

The aluminium 5-pin DIN connector is made in-house here at Bool Audio. It has been designed to fit the Belden cable perfectly, ensuring a high-quality termination. For the RCA connectors we have used the reliable and high-quality Switchcraft 3502A with gold-plated contacts and black shell. We have added left and right (white/red) channel indicators.
The cable boots going into the RCA connectors have been shielded with silver-plated copper braid connected to the ground plane. The use of silver-plated copper and PTFE insulated ground cables provides greater durability and sonic performance.
To maintain the quality of the phono connection and minimize the risk of interference, the cable employs a separate shielded ground wire topology. This design effectively isolates all signal wires from the ground plane, reducing the likelihood of crosstalk between them.
