A tonearm cable for the Linn LP12, handmade at Bool Audio. The DIN body, RCA bodies & Y-splitter are machined in-house from black PEEK, which keeps capacitance down & reduces microphonics without needing the connector bodies grounded.
The cable itself is Gotham GAC-2, a Swiss-made double flat balanced cable with double Reussen shielding. The shield connects to ground at each end only, never to a signal wire at any point. RCA receptacles are AECO gold-plated tellurium copper; the DIN pins are gold plated too.
That choice of cable matters on an LP12 because the suspension is sensitive to the tonearm cable: a stiff or heavy one interferes with the subchassis movement. The GAC-2 is slim & flexible enough to route without touching the subchassis or baseboard, & a P-clip is included to dress it correctly.
Every cable is guaranteed for two years against defects in materials & workmanship; if something goes wrong we'd rather fix it than replace it. For custom lengths or non-standard configurations, contact us first.
